  3. JJ-The reason to create a Bin with in a Bin is to obtain another level of organization. For example, if I have an Audio Bin. I could create three other bins that could have content such as Music, Narration, and Sound EFX. The set-up may take longer but will pay off in the long run.

  13. Joel-I am unclear on your question. The Finder is not associated or an active part of the Final Cut Pro windows. Insert and Overwrite functions would need to take place in Final Cut Pro itself. Maybe you could clarify your question for me.

  14. Taylor-The purpose of creating a new sequence allows you editing freedom. There are several reasons for creating a new sequence. One is to allow you to make several of your project. Maybe you want to experiment with a new transition for special effect? You might want to use different music and compare them? A new sequence can be effective when working with clients.

  16. Mark-Good Question about the A1 and A2 "Destination" tracks. The do serve a purpose. When you open a clip in the Viewer the Timeline Patch panel indicates whether or not you clip will come with Audio or Video. These sources will give you another visual cue. I will demonstrate this today in class.

  17. Brian-You can adjust the volume of clip by accessing the Clip Overlay feature in the Timeline. You can also adjust the volume of a clip when you active in the Viewer. I will demonstrate this today so you can see how to make that adjustment. In order to adjust the actual Pitch of a clip this can be done with an efx or can be sent to Soundtrack Pro and adjusted to your liking.
