ReplyDeleteTeam work.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the main topics that I am excited to work on. I think that the students in this classroom have a lot to offer and i'm excited to learn and discover what they all have to offer in video production. The View of 2nd year students and their videos is a perfect example of what we can accomplish once we work together. =)
Teamwork
ReplyDeleteAlways needed with making movies no matter what you do in production
I have always needed teamwork when making a video and usually I would grab friends to help with making movies with me or helping them out
Make it happen means to give it your all. It means you can not quite and give. instead you must try your best and put forth the effort to make something happen.
ReplyDeleteNo Excuses
ReplyDeleteThis idea refers to the idea that you should be as straight forward as possible in this class. Do not try and find a way out of the truth. If you broken something or something went wrong and you are honest, then you have done all that you can. Do not come up with a story the puts the blame on others.
Team Work can mean a lot of things. Team work can become a lot of things. Team work grows stronger with the bond of the teammates. If you aren't friendly with your mates then good luck winning because what you would create without real "teamwork" is only half as good as it could have been. Never become lazy and give it 110% because as of now we can move up or fall back down and when we ARE at the top all we can do is just fall down. That is why giving it your all is what really counts not what other people think.
ReplyDeleteFocus (positive)
ReplyDeleteTo me this means not being overwhelmed by to much concentration and if so having the ability to still have a positive look on things. I hope to focus as much as possible and still be positive about it.
Teamwork
ReplyDeleteThe cooperation of individuals to achieve a goal
I will work diligently with my team towards whatever collective goal we have by listening to their needs, working within their schedual and getting a second opinion from my team.
Teamwork means strength in numbers, working in sync with each other and running a production smoothly
Focus(Positive)
ReplyDeleteWhen everything goes bad the best way for it to get any better is to think positive. Plus if you're thinking positive so will your peers around you.
-Pride and Determination-
ReplyDeleteWorking hard at something like a football player works hard at practice, then having it pay off on friday nights in that stadium hearing all those fans cheering your team on while you play the sport that you love.
A strong team can carry you far,and your only as strong as your weakest link. I believe in helping the team in what ever ways gonna help excel, team work makes the dream work.
ReplyDeleteI really like 'make it happen' and 'pride and determination' which really go hand and hand together. I really feel that determination makes it happen and I've seen this first hand. Pride is one of those things where its a good thing to have like having pride in what you're doing and pride at the end of the day where you can say I'm proud of the final product. But pride can get in the way of teamwork and I've seen that first hand as well. Not everyone is gonna see it how you see it and sometimes if you're too prideful you won't see or hear what the other person is suggesting and what they're suggesting could be better than your idea. All in all I feel 'Pride and Determination' is the key one and everything falls underneath it. You gotta have Pride and Determination to make it happen, to make no excuses, to have teamwork, and to keep a positve focus.
ReplyDeleteTeamwork means that everyone is working together to achieve the same goal. Nothing good ever gets accomplished when everyone is trying to do there own thing.
ReplyDeletei typed something but it disappeared!!
ReplyDeleteNo Excuses. Theres nothing that i hate more than someone messing up and then making up an excuse on the spot and just looking stupid. So i dont do it if i mess up ill admit it. Because I have a friend that was in my friends pantry where his laptop was hooked up to his house's speaker sysem playing music, my friend knocked off the laptop and the screen cracked dramatically. he was the only one in the pantry and instantly said "i am not getting blamed for this!" But he made the excuse that the laptop was slip off the shelf when in reality when he grabbed a bag of chips and knocked in on the shelf onto the tile floor.
ReplyDeleteI think ''Make It Happen'' is a good one. It means don't let anything get in the way of you doing your best, and no matter what happens when you're working on a project just do your best.
ReplyDeleteFocus... Focus I believe is the most important part of the five steps. I need to maintain a positive focus in dvp. A lot is going to happen this year and Im ready for it. Its going to be challenging but at the same time fun. I need to be focused extremely. Everything is game now. Im ready to roll.
ReplyDeletemake it happen!!!!!!!! When we are working on assignments or anything else. We do not need to slack off or diddle-daddle around we need to work on our assignment and get it done then we can talk to classmates or other things
ReplyDeleteI think Teamwork is very important, especially in a job. If there is no one cooperating with each other, the work will not get done. One should think about others, not just about himself. It makes it a much easier and fun job when everyone gets along to help one another.
ReplyDeleteMAKE IT HAPPEN ALL THE WAY. and Focus like no other this is you once and a life time opportunity to open your mind and express your self and with that respect everyone and the equipment. walk in with a smile and walk out with a smile and you have succeeded
ReplyDeletei think that dvp is the greatest class i've ever taken, plus i learn so much about video editing it's crazy but i'm in love with it.
ReplyDeleteFocus
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to keep your focus. Especially if you're working on a team that might not be all on board with the project. Even in a literal sense of the word, it's hard to focus on doing regular tasks. It's taking me much longer than it should to type this thing up, because I can't keep my focus.
Focus (Positive)
ReplyDeleteWithout a positive attitude none of these will work. Only patience and a positive attitude can carry a good work ethnic. Sure some people can be talented at their ability. But without a positive attitude no one will want to hire someone with a negative attitude.
Pride and Determination
ReplyDeleteWhat pride and determination to me is something that I remember from last it. Simply it means that you should put every ounce of energy into your project that your doing. It still reminds me from last year when Mr. K told told us, "If your not proud of it, keep working on it." I try and make even some of the worst video's that I make something at least worth watching cause I'm determined to make sure that it will be great. :)
Making it happen is a concept that can incorporate pretty much anything that is necessary for the final product...not giving up on anything and pushing through problems even if they seem impossible, because there is always something that can be done. DO IT, whatever IT takes.
ReplyDeleteMake it Happen-
ReplyDeleteWhen we are working on a project as a group we as individuals have to give all our 100 percent to make sure we fallow through on what we are working on. Having all of these different rules combined makes a dream team that will never fail.
You have to have pride and determination to even start a project. You have to be proud of just the simple idea that starts your video. Determination is what will get you through the entire process an if you don't have that, then you're pretty much screwed from the moment you begin. There's also another rule, which happens to be my favorite, "If you're not proud of it, you're not done". Whatever you create has to be something you can watch over and over and say, I'm proud of it. Pride and Determination are huge parts of being on this class.
ReplyDeletefocus
ReplyDeletei think focus is important because its very easy to get sidetracked while you're trying to complete a task. But if you can stay focused you can accomplish pretty much anything you set your mind to.
Make it Happen!
ReplyDeleteWhile times may be tough or the task may seem to overwhelming, you just have to make it happen! Take for example my job at Sonic. Often times, i'll be left in the kitchen by myself on a busy burger night. Obese sometimes disgusting people come in and ask for "20 cheezy burgers!!!! OH LURDDDDDDD!!" What do i do? i get the food out and Make it Happen!!!!.......... the food's out 20 minutes later but still :DDDDDD
No excuses.
ReplyDeleteNo excuses refers to owning up your mistakes and finding a way to make the situation better. For me, the hardest part of this class will be keeping up with assignments outside of the class; but this year we should all be determined to have no excuses and get our assignments done. If you honestly forget about an assignment, don't make up a stupid excuse to cover it up. Own up to your mistakes so the problem can get solved more efficiently.
Teamwork. Teamwork consists of everyone working together. For example, everyone in a group project should help each other out and work on the project equally.
ReplyDeleteTeamwork!
ReplyDeleteYou can be surprised with what you can accomplish with teamwork, and alot of it can turn ideas to be very creative yet insightful. When your also working as a team, everything seems alot more clear because you talk things through and share all kinds of ideas. I personally love teamwork, everyone is working as one toward the same ambition.
