I have always wanted to watch a film in luxury. If Mr. Warren would like to take this to another level they could invite film directors to come and screen their films here in Oklahoma and invite film students to attend. Then he could stake claim to the phrase "a movie experience like no other!" I have always believed in the movie experience. When I go to the movies I expect to be able to sit in a quiet theater and enjoy the monster viewing screen with digital cinema projector and the 7.1. surround sound that shakes my seat. Although that could actually be the aftershock of Oklahoma's newest outdoor adventure theater called I-Shakes. Thank you Mr. Warren for bringing the Hollywood experience closer to home.
that sucks, it sounds great but i'm not 21 or older at least i'm sexy and i look a little older... maybe they'll let me in when they realize how fresh i am
Well, on one hand I think it's pretty cool to be able to kind of have a private screening of a movie, but on the other hand, it's just another ploy to get more money from us. $22 per seat?! There was so much hype over the balcony, and honestly, it really isn't that great.
The Warren without a doubt is the best place to see a new movie. The provide the best customer service, and best concessions. The Movie theatre's are always clean, I have never had one bad movie at the warren. The fact we have this luxurious theatre in our own back yard is a complete blessing. Thanks a million from alex the dvp class! and yes the IMAX theatre is going to amazing, I don't care what the price is, it's going to be absolutely amazing. I can't wait for the 3D expierence.
Ehh. Honestly its okay. It was amazing when it first came out and Warren knew it was a time for an upgrade, hence the IMAX Theater. Compared to all other theaters i have to admit that the Warren was the best experience, but slowly and gradually the experience is getting "too old". Luxurious seats might be good. depends on HOW comfortable. as long as the theater can make me feel like im actually within the movie im totally fine with it.
I think luxury seating would make a big difference on a viewers take of a movie. If there comfortable there going to forget about there seating cause there content. Therefor they are into the movie with no outside distractions.
Yeah that's a bad idea to open the suites with the midnight showing of Breaking dawn considering that not very many adults are as big of fans as teenagers. But it is good that you have to be old because you wont be messing up the nice new suites with you children.
I think it's really cool they're putting new seats. I think it definitely makes a huge difference in the audience's reaction to the movie. That's the whole reason people go to the movies, for the big screen, and the seats, and just the entire experience.
I think new seats would make the movie experience more real. If these seats make body pain go away, people can forget that they are still human and get in to the movie more.
I love warren theaters and now they are putting a IMAX next to it. there stepping up there game but PLEASE lower the prices of the candy and food or ill just stay with tacobell
I like the new luxurious seats I mean it depends on the movie type. Like if i was watching paranormal activity 3 i would like to have heated seats i mean that would definitely set the mood for a very scary movie. Even a romance movie could set a different tone. But at 22.00 a ticket i don't think a lot of people will be willing to fork over that much money. But the balcony seats are a big hit so all in all i think this will be a good thing
I think it's a pretty good idea but quite pricey. The theater I'm guessing would make a little more money if people like it. Like for instance my sister went to Mexico and she went to the movies and it was like exclusive like the seats were so comfortable and they would shake when there was a shaky scene and if there was thunder they would actually have lighting and stuff like that. She said you get the full effect as if you were actually there. So having one of these luxury theaters would be nice because you could get a better Hollywood movie effect and since it's pricey I'm guessing not many people would pay so there would be less noise which in my opinion would be awesome nothing is more annoying then people talking while your trying to watch a movie and comfy seats would be great.
I think that getting those kinds of seats for a movie theatre is just too out there. On top of the Warren being so expensive, they're getting expensive seats. You could sit in your recliner at home with stuff similar to the Warren and have the same or a better experience than having to go there.
i think it would be the coolest thing in the world for "box seats" in a movie theatre! can you imagine enjoying the movie atop everone else in the theatre but being served while this happens! i think the price is reasonable as well. including it being in am imax is even better! i love the idea and i think ppl would get into a lot of hell to reserve those months in advance for opening nights. i love it!
The seating and customer service at Warren is pretty awesome. It was cool at first, but like Arman said it's starting to get a little old. Although I rarely go there because I don't have money. The picture and sound really delivers and it's definitely the best out of all the theaters around norman and moore.
I think that it's a great idea to have director seats at the Warren. There are tons of people, including students and other people who study films for a living, that would like to view movies without some of the annoyances that come along with the normal movie going experience; annoying movie goers, babies, and less clean areas. With V.I.P seatings, people who want their experience to be more than the norm, I feel like this is a great idea.
I would be more than willing to pay extra to watch a movie in this new area, but would only do it for special occasions because the regular seating is good enough as it is in my opinion.
I think that luxury seating is nice to have but honestly i could go without it. I think it can also take away from the movie your watching if your just too comfortable in your seat.
If I had some extra cash on hand, I would definitely take full advantage of this new addition, provided that there is actually a film worth seeing. If I could watch something like the 2010 "True Grit" in one of these new theaters, I would, without a doubt, make it happen because, well, let's just admit it. This is pretty freakin' sweet.
personally i think its just a novelty. for a movie to be enjoyed you do need a certain amount of comfort but at 21$ a seat? i mean i know that you need to cover the cost of building, licensing, distribution, employee wage, employer interest in continuing the business, taxes, upkeep, bills and food items but i think it just isn't worth it
seats that are to comfortable make me tired and I usually fall asleep right at the beginning of the movie. Which sucks because I just wasted money I saved for two weeks. So all I need is a simple chair when I go to the movies.
I love what the Warren has done with the theatre experience. The royal design inside makes the environment fell so much more luxurious. Director seats would give people a better experience at watching movies, and i would not mind paying alittle more to avoid the talking or yelling in normal auditoriums. With the success of the Warren Theaters i don't see why not improve the experience. It's an option if someone wants to go in the directors seatings so it would not hurt at all.
I feel a seat can make the difference in bringing you into the and not. Most movies seem better in the theater and when you have a friggin lazy boy it helps you get into that movie mode. Paying extra it would have to be a real awesome movie like Star Wars in 3D, but just a regular movie like my beloved Horror movies I wouldn't. Mostly 'cause horror movies are supposed to be uncomfortable and if you have seats that are uncomfortable then you're half way there.
I think the new area is very cool if you want to spend the extra money and maybe impress a lady. Honestly i the normal area and seats seem good enough and is more luxurious then any other movie theatre. I would do it only on certain occasions and movies that I would really enjoy.
Honestly, i like the price of $22 for the director suite but still, if i get to comfy, I'll pass out with butter all over my face and a soda spilled on my pants :p But i would like to massage chair, but once again i"ll fall asleep
The luxury seating at the Warren seems like a cool feature they have added. I would like to experience this, but not at the Warren price. The massage and heated seats are nice, but I think it's too overpriced. It's a scam for your money! Maybe if it was a movie that I was DYING to see, I would pay for it, but it's more of a once in a lifetime experience.
Nothing enhances the feel of a movie more than placement, in my honest opinion. If you find yourself in the very front row, or on the side, it's not as breathtaking is it? I prefer to be dead center in the theatre. Not only this, but the atmosphere. Do you want to have a quiet crowd or one that can't take things seriously? If I had it my way, I'd be alone in the theatre, or with a friend, only.
To me, it all sounds fantastic. Who wouldn't want to experience luxury? It might even make up for the bad movies you regret paying for. Yes, it's really pricey, but if the balcony seating and whatnot are successful, then the suites have a big chance as well. Maybe it won't be an every weekend event, but treating yourself every once in a while might be worth it. Of course, I can't say much because if it's for 21 and older, I won't be able to experience it for a while. But it all sounds really great. Movies are pieces of work. And they deserve to be shown in a place of luxury.
Its a great concept for those wanting that experience. Plus with this comes the opportunity to invite Hollywood to Oklahoma. Sometimes its nice to splurge and spend money to relax and enjoy the moment, Im down with just having that option...
I really do like the idea of having something like that. It really gives you the opportunity to relax while watching a movie, instead of you listening to crying babies and 7 year olds that can't control themselves. Really, I don't know when I would ever use the director suites (probably cause you have to be 21 or older). Even if I was that age, $22 is a lot of money. Bring a date with you...$44. I'd rather go have an expensive dinner and rent a redbox movie instead, and most likely still spend less than that. Overall, great idea...but super expensive.
