  5. I think it should have something similar to Facebook pages. I know has something of some what but, this would be more advanced. Categories of films or short stories. Better enhanced quality of video shot below 1080 and better audio.

  8. Shows by either really talented amateurs, or well known directors and actors who will do it right. (Like Netflix securing 2 seasons of a show directed by David Fincher and starring Kevin Spacey) Otherwise, I think the YouTube TV show idea will be a train wreck. I think Netflix has a better chance of succeeding and competing against premium cable channels like HBO and Showtime. When I think of YouTube, I think dumb music videos and videos of our animals. Not serious programming.

  9. I think it needs to be cutting-edge, interesting fiction shows. Like Hannah said, it needs to be more like HBO and Showtime. Half of the USA programming is more interesting and out there than broadcast channels. I watch shows online most of the time anyway, so if the content was there...I'd even watch it on youtube.

  10. I think webisodes will be hit or miss. Hopefully they're hire actual talent to do things that are interesting, low budget internet shorts? Not so much

  11. Definitely modern fiction shows. YouTube has done some really good things in the past with ARGs (alternate reality games) and web series that found their way onto the site. It would be nice to see some of the same on the NEW AND IMPROVED YouTube.

  12. I would make a western, with todays tech this underrated genre could really explode. an example i had is a movie ive been working on with my brother about a thief who survives a being stranded in the desert and finds bandit's gold. this leaving him to run from the law and the group who's treasure he stole.

  14. It can't be shows that could be re-done. They have to be interesting, and not something that gets a bajillion views on just the fact that the guy can change the pitch on his voice on imovie and act like a 7 year old. Dramas, and serious things would probably get more hits than all the humor Youtube already has.

  16. I think there is way too many comedy shows on youtube. I would like to see more dramatic sitcoms or shows. Even a good horror series would be nice. They should get like John carpenter to create a good horror series on youtube. On showtime there used to be a TV series called Masters of horror. They should do something just like that, but instead call it Horror masters of the web. Maybe a different title. But still something like that TV series. They would get all the great masters of horror to shoot & direct a 1 hour horror movie for the series. They should do something exactly like that for youtube. But instead of using the great masters of horror. They should pick different individual filmmakers that are good. Every week would be a new film from a different independent director. Eh just an EYEDEA!!

  17. I'd say a very well produced sit com, since it would be very fun to watch and it wouldn't be done cheap and get billions of views. There are some random stuff on youtube that had almost no effort and got millions of views.

  18. They should get tim and eric to do little shows. They are awesome and perfect for youtube. May not be appropriate though..

  19. I want to see some well produced productions. I would like create an EduTainment show. I have a few ideas. I would love to create a kids show that is fun and educational. I have some characters in mind that would be fun. Who can forget Capt. Kangaroo, Mr. Rogers, and HO HO the Clown. These were classic. Hmmmmmm.

  20. I'd like to see more shows that are seriously made and more shows that examine and explain different things (Wildlife, Space, Technology, etc.)

  21. I think that the stuff needs to mean something. Make people think. What I think would draw people in is something that you initially dont know the meaning of. You have to figure it out, going back what i just said...make you think. I dont mean to get as deep as like Inception, but even a pixar short style where things can represent different things, not just what they initially appear to be.

  22. I think that they should try and do like short films of all different of genre's. With that it would almost please everyone on youtube. Or I'd like to see like talk shows on there. I haven't seen that many on there that aren't that popular. With google doing it, I think they could make a pretty legit one if they put there mind to it. :)

  23. I would like to see a channel that shows different genres of videos everyday. that are new and old of different people that made the videos. Telling us which videos are good or what new videos are uploaded that fit the topic of the day. That way people can see new videos that will sometimes never be seen.

  24. WEELlll id like to seem some creativity and intelligence. Yes theres going to be idiotic reality shows or just plain uncreative drama going on, but I think it would be nice to have some channels set up for independent film makers. That opens a broad category to so many things and unlike TV it won't be predictable. I was thinking shows where filmmakers go out and do a documentary about the world. Different places different things. Traveling around the world and bringing a better understanding of each other. Showing diversity within the world and how were all connected. Getting people to respect different cultures. A nice independent news show would be all well to. Showing both sides and not just one. These news channels can concentrate in a variety of different subjects. That way you can just watch news on a certain subject you want. I don't know what kind of pay system would influence the Youtuber Reporter but i would think he would be free from corporate pressure unlike the news we have on TV. I think the shows should be entirely run by the people and their ideas just like youtube is doing. We don't need to muddy up our communication with each other by letting big agencies in. Theses channels will have a lot of influence over people. They can be a very powerful tool we shouldn't let anybody create a monopoly out of them, it should all be independent work.

  25. Considering I only watch Toby Turner/Tobuscus on YouTube, and I really only watch TV during the evening when there's decent stuff on, I really don't know of any ideas I want to see for a web show. I'm really picky about shows... Hmmm... Gosh, I don't have any ideas!

  26. the youtube is good for deaf people to watching had the CC and deaf show in there its just great!
A new idea for a show would be something to relate to Deaf culture; comedy, drama etc.
